AI is moving fast, maybe too fast for any one person to keep up with alone. That’s exactly why we started West Michigan AI Navigators, a new community for business leaders, IT professionals, educators, students, and anyone curious about how AI can create real value in their work.
What This Community Is About
West Michigan AI Navigators runs on a simple idea: Learn. Share. Build. Accelerate.
Whether you’re testing out Microsoft Copilot, digging into Claude or ChatGPT, automating business processes, or just trying to figure out what all the buzz is about, this group is built for you. We’re not chasing hype or influencer takes. We’re here to share real experience, ask good questions, and help West Michigan navigate the opportunities AI and automation are creating.
This isn’t a place to argue about which AI model is better. It’s a place for business professionals who want to get things done and help each other along the way.
Who’s Behind It
I’m Donald McArthur, Chief AI Officer at Real IT Solutions. Over the past couple of years, I’ve helped businesses find practical ways to use AI and automation, and worked on making AI part of everyday company culture, not just another tool nobody uses. I’ve gotten hands-on with Claude, Copilot, OpenAI, Hatz, and a bunch of other platforms along the way.
My goal for this community is simple: build a place where West Michigan professionals can learn from each other and swap ideas that actually drive growth.
